How we plan your special wedding day
Our aim at The Rocks is to make your wedding day the most memorable day of your life!
To achieve this we like to make the pre wedding period as relaxed and enjoyable as possible by taking care of as many of the finer details and assisting you along the way with our vast wedding experience.
We have designed our packages so that they are all inclusive- our ceremony packages include stunning flowers for the arbour and aisle. We transfer the beautiful arbour flowers and aisle flowers so they can be utilised for the tables for pre dinner drinks and the bridal table or coffee tables after the completion of the cermeony.
The reception packages at The Rocks also include timber tables or tables dress with crisp linen and timber dining chairs. The table decore includes floral design , candles or lanterns and bespoke linen runners and napkins. All you have to do is to select your favourite style and we will design
it to co-ordinate with your gown, maids dress colour and the guys suits .
We include foliage and flowers into your ceremony and reception packages as it adds a beautiful texture and colour for your photographs and for your tables. Our co-ordinator will guide you throughout the planning stage to ensure everything works together.
Our wedding co-ordinator will assist you the logistics of the day, preparing your wedding day timetable and MC guide as well as your table plan and seating arrangements.
We also offer guidance to helping you find the most suitable services providers form buses, photographers, videographers, entertainment , cake makers and other novel service providers.
This takes a huge load of your shoulders in the weeks preceding your wedding.
As your guests arrive they are greeted at the entrance of the venue and ushered to the ceremony site where they are offered refreshment. We have prepared some stunning punch and ice tea recipes to offer your guests on arrival. It is such a lovely way to make your guests feel conformable and relaxed before your entrance.
Just prior to the Brides entrance the co-ordinator will seat your family and special guests and we create a seating plan for the ceremony so l family members are personally seated.
This makes your family and special guests feel welcome and fittingly special on the wedding day.
The co-ordinator will then greet the bride and ensure that they have some refreshments on arrival,
checking dresses and bouquets.
We then cue the music and oversee the Bridal entrance which is often the most stressful time for the bride and maids.
After the ceremony our team setup up an area for group photos, offering your photographer a ladder for an elevated view for the full group photo.
Although these tasks seem trivial they ensure that the first hour of your wedding is well organised and stress free.
A bridal party picnic is then prepared and delivered to our timber shack which a popular site for the Bridal party to gather and relax for a few minutes to enjoy a drink and canapés together, before they embark on the photo shoot. We don’t forgot your photographer, realising that they have already put in a few hours of hard work and we also pack them some refreshments!
The next hour or so are spent having fun with your bridal party during the photo shoot whilst our wait and bar team ensure your guests are entertained with lawn games, great food and refreshments.
On your return you are welcome to mingle with your guests whilst the sun sets over the Maroochy river or your guests are welcomed to the main reception area so you can join them formally as the new ‘Mr and Mrs’ after sunset photos.
The Rocks team of experienced bar and wait staff, co-ordinators and the creative and
talented chef team have been selected to unsure your wedding day is truly memorable and the experience of a lifetime.
